This fun couple called on us to help start a new chapter in a home that needed an infusion of light and color. We continued an East Coastal theme that began in the kitchen by bringing in the marine blue and coral palette. A sturdy dining set that came with the home was given new life with a coat of ivory on the table and hutch, and marine blue on the chairs. Striped upholstery made a second appearance on the dining seat cushions, echoing the custom drapery in the living room. More custom curtains in a “Zoologic” print upped the cheerful quotient. Working with the couple’s own furniture in the living room, we added vintage pineapple sconces, painted tables, and whimsical art. “It just feels like a happy space now,” said the thrilled homeowner. We couldn’t agree more.
