Lightened, Brightened Dining & Foyer

This lovely client approached us with a request to extend the light, airy look we had designed for her kitchen two years earlier. Familiar with her Scandi-inspired style, we began our first task: revamp the color scheme while keeping the existing creamy trim color. We selected Sherwin Williams Greek Villa and Tradewind for an ethereal look. To mirror the light blue tray ceiling, we introduced a pale blue wool rug that anchored the whitewashed dining table and chairs. The light fixtures continued the whitewashed wood aesthetic, accented by subtle gold and rope details. The built-in china hutch was rejuvenated with a contrast back wall that beautifully highlighted her crystal. New paint, hardware, and accessories completed the hutch, while gold candle sconces and a framed handmade textile finished out the room. Even the foyer received an update, featuring a cerused wood and brass console paired with pale jade buffet lamps.
