The Cozy Up project for this lovely client started with a few guidelines: keep the existing sofa and draperies, and create a welcoming gathering place. We began with paint—choosing Rookwood Sash Green, a historic Sherwin-Williams shade, to complement the neutral Aged White walls. The fireplace wall was refreshed with tongue-and-groove planking above the mantle and picture-frame molding that highlights a series of sconces, adding comforting repetition across the room. A flat TV in art mode doubles as artwork with its ornate frame. Shell medallion wall art accents each vaulted wall, while an oversized brass lantern adds a touch of glam overhead. A washed wood coffee table anchors the space, while blue ceramic lamps and carefully curated accessories complete the palette. The result is a layered room that feels both relaxed and refined—just in time for holiday gatherings.
