It was a privilege to donate the design for a new hangout space in this therapeutic home for teen girls. When we arrived, the space was filled with well-used castoffs that had seen better days. This being a space where the girls relax, watch movies, play games, and host visitors, the living room plays an important role in the healing process. We started with the non-profit brand colors which played nicely with the concept of healing water. The vibe was to be feminine but not too girly, and a bit contemporary. The navy and teal washable rug was the cornerstone of the design, and striped swivel chairs offer rocking comfort. A center coffee in metal and wood anchors the space. All who contributed to making this refresh a reality can be proud that their donations are definitely loved.
