What began as a dark, dated kitchen ended as a light, Scandi-inspired space where a fresh chapter can begin. This lovely client wanted a neutral, barely-there palette with just a hint of color. We chose Aged Beige paint for the cabinets, which provided a neutral backdrop for the backsplash mosaic tile in a criss-cross pattern. Muted brass accents repeat throughout, appearing in the cabinet pulls and Kohler faucets. We added more drama with an oversized brass pendant and wood and metal chandelier that echoed the whitewashed table. Raw wood and wicker dining chairs add subtle contrast. Accessories are all about texture, with wood finials, agave sculpture, and handmade pottery.
