Warm Wind Kitchen Refresh
Our kitchen started as a clean but characterless builder-grade space, complete with an outdated microwave over the range. We were craving more personality — and found it through handmade Zellige tile in the dreamy “Tidepool” shade and a fresh layout that brought art into the everyday. A long open shelf with a mural above (made possible by a downdraft cooktop) created a minimalist focal point, while a custom white oak countertop added natural warmth. Halcyon Green cabinets and antique brass lighting brought depth and charm. To keep things cohesive, we carried the Coastal-Boho vibe into the adjacent dining area, continuing the mural – a piece that conjures memories of lazy summer days spent lakeside under breezy birches. We repurposed the original cabinets in the laundry room, giving them new life with Sherwin-Williams Pressed Flower pink and a cheerful repeat of “Strawberry Thief” wallpaper — a pattern also featured in a guest bath elsewhere in the home. The result? A soulful, one-of-a-kind space that flows beautifully and makes our hearts sing!
